Sports

John Paul II High School has a strong history in athletics. Their basketball team went to the state championship in the 2013–2014 season, but lost to the defending champions Prestonwood Christian Academy. Athletic programs continue to show steady growth.[2][3]

The Men's Varsity Soccer team also has won the District Championships for three consecutive years: 2013–14, 2014–15 and 2015–16. In 2015–16, the Men's Varsity Soccer team placed second in the TAPPS State Championship tournament.
