John Meare

John Meare D.D. was an English academic administrator at the University of Oxford.

Meare was elected Principal (head) of Brasenose College, Oxford in 1681, a post he held until 1710.[1][2] During his time as Principal of Brasenose College, he was also Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University from 1697 until 1698.[3][4]
