Joash Onyango

Joash Abong'o Onyango (born 31 January 1993) is a Kenyan footballer who plays as a defender for Gor Mahia and the Kenya national team. Joash a former student of Shamberere High School (class of 2010), in Kakamega is considered one of the best all time player of his Secondary Schools football tournament in Kakamega region.

International career

Onyango made his debut for Kenya on 25 May 2018 against Swaziland.[1] Onyango has been named in Kenya's national team squad as top defenders to play in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. Before then during the U17 team tournaments, he played Centre Midfield and was nicknamed 'Deco' after Portuguese footballer Deco.
