Joaquín Menini

Joaquín Menini (born 18 August 1991) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for Dutch club Den Bosch[1]

He was part of the Argentine team that won gold in men's field hockey at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.[2]

International career

He made his debut for the Argentina national team in 2014 in a friendly four nations tournament in Santiago, Chile and he played his first competitive matches at the 2014 South American Games where he won the gold medal.[3] Menini was part of the Argentina squad that won the bronze medal 2014 World Cup, he also played at the 2018 World Cup.[4]

Club career

Menini played in Argentina for Club Ferrocarril Mitre before he moved to Europe in 2014 to play for Club de Campo in Madrid, Spain.[5] He played there until 2016, before he moved to the Netherlands to play for HGC in Wassenaar.[6] After having played one year for them he transferred to another Dutch club, HC Den Bosch where he recently signed a contract extension.[7]
