Jessie Mei Li
Jessica Mei Li (born 17 August 1995) is an English actress. She will star as Alina Starkov in upcoming Netflix series Shadow and Bone and play Lara in Edgar Wright's Last Night in Soho. Her stage work includes 2019 production of All About Eve.

Early life and education
Born in Brighton and raised in Redhill, Surrey, Li attended Reigate College.[1] She joined the National Youth Theatre in 2015 and trained at Identity School of Acting from 2016 to 2017.[2]
Career
Li made her stage debut in February 2019 with the role of Claudia Caswell in All About Eve at Noel Coward Theatre alongside Gillian Anderson and Lily James. The production was internationally cinecast via National Theatre Live.[3][4]
She will play Lara Chung in the upcoming film by Edgar Wright Last Night in Soho.[5] In October 2019, it was announced Li would star in the lead role of Alina Starkov in the upcoming Netflix series Shadow and Bone, an adaptation of fantasy book series Shadow and Bone and the Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.[6]
