Jamaica at the 2020 Summer Olympics

Jamaica is expected to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games have been postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] The country's participation will mark its seventeenth Summer Olympic appearance as an independent state, although it has previously competed in four other editions as a British colony, and as part of the West Indies Federation.
