Career

On February 28, Jade Simmons launched an unexpected and wholly independent 2020 run for President of the United States. She had spent years working with many recognizable brands to collaboratively communicate to citizens. In 2020, after years of watching division and irreconcilable differences amongst United States' leaders, she launched a movement entitled, Operation Restoration 2020, to create the unity and restoration she believes many Americans are seeking.

In 2004, Simmons founded the Impulse Artists Series which was the 2009 winner of the Houston Press Best Non-Profit Arts Series.[5][9] In 2011, Simmons published the eBook Emerge Already!: The Ultimate Guide to Career Building for Emerging Artists,[3] titled after her Emerge Already![7] project of the same name. Simmons' first album was titled' 'Revolutionary Rhythm (2009). In 2012 she released the single "Boss's Nova",[10] and the Playing With Fire EP[11] in September 2012, followed by a second full release on E1 (formerly Koch Classics) entitled #PaganiniProject[12] in February 2013. She has begun writing as a contributing author to the Huffington Post.[4]
