Izidor Sterk

Izidor Sterk (29 October 1860 – 8 September 1935) was a Hungarian Jewish architect.

Life

He studied in Vienna and settled in Budapest in 1892. In addition to several factories and tenement houses, he designed several large department stores, the most notable of which is the Révai Brothers' book house on Ülli-út. He won the 1st prize three times in the tenders of the Gellért Bath and received the design commission together with architects Artúr Sebestyén and Ármin Hegedűs.
