With approximately 800,000 sq ft of premium non-stratified lease-only retail space, the 4-level Shopping Mall encompasses a complete trade mix and rich tenant composition with around 300 tenants which has a range of retail, entertainment and dining outlets.[2]

It has attracted more than 18 million of people every year which included local residents and tourists from all around the world and became one of the most visited shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu.

History

IMAGO Shopping Mall was originally slated to open in the late 2014,[1] However, the mall was officially opened on 28 March 2015 with the graced by Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah, Yang Berhormat Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah.[3]

Location & Access

IMAGO Shopping Mall is part of the Kota Kinabalu Times Square Development comprising The Signature Office, a much-sought office address, and The Loft Residence, a condominium development sitting on top of IMAGO Shopping Mall.

One week before IMAGO Shopping Mall was opened, the developer of IMAGO Shopping Mall - Asian Pac Holdings Berhad had cooperated with Unit Kerjasama Awam Swasta (UKAS) of the Prime Minister's Office to build the 6-lane KK Times Square Bridge that connect Jalan Coastal and Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens where elevate connectivity of IMAGO Shopping Mall from the city's downtown and uptown.[4]

Tenants

Every floor in IMAGO Shopping Mall is designed to meet the different needs of every visitor. The only anchor tenant, Parkson, a department store that spawned 3 floors inside the mall.

Basement Mercato

Designed to integrate essential needs such as groceries, electrical appliances, food & beverages and services. The retail includes Everrise Supermarket, senQ Digital Station, TM Point, DHL Express, Merchantrade Asia, Burger King, Hui Lau Shan, TeaLive, Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart and Lucy's Kitchen.

Ground Couture

To satisfy the passion for fashion, there are several international fashion brands which includes Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Tumi, H&M, Terranova, Uniqlo, Fossil, Old Navy, LC Waikiki, Victoria Secret, Bath & Body Works, Sephora, Cortina Watch, Jo Malone, Swarovski, Coach, Timberland, Adidas, Puma and many more.

First Fashionista

To merge high street fashion with chic, this floor carries local fashion and accessories which includes Sembonia, Carlo Rino, Dees, FOS, Brands Outlet, Xixili and others. This floor also have household products such as Mr D.I.Y and Kaison and also beauty, health & wellness services such as Skin Life and Thai Odyssey.

Second Playground

To create amusement and excitement for all age, this floor houses MBO Cinemas, Molly Fantasy, Star Archery, KMAX Karaoke, Escapee. and Toy R Us, Besides that, Electronic gadgets from Samsung, Huawei, Switch and Thundermatch,Massage Chair and fitness equipment from GINTELL, Zero Degree and Fitness concept. This floor also house the only bookstore in the mall, Popular.

The mall's own food court, Heritage Food Street which includes A1 Chicken Rice, Veggie, Ayam Penyet, Fish Village and Sabah Chili Pan Mee is also located at Second floor.

Alfresco Street Walk (Aramaiti)

Aramaiti, an auspicious term meaning to celebrate as the name refer to, houses the best spot in the town to hang out at night. The outlet at the Street Walk includes SOULed OUT, Morganfield's, Nando's, Zing Restaurant and Bar, White Orchid, Ebizou, Starbucks and Seoul Garden.

Imago Hope Express

Hope Express

IMAGO Shopping Mall has started a charity initiative in line with its “Once Upon A Dream” Christmas event in December 2016. The charity campaign called “Hope Express” which involves train ride around the mall 2nd floor and instead of charging a fare to take the ride, IMAGO Shopping Mall has decided to let the public donate the fare. IMAGO had donated the collected fares to Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sembulan, Seri Mengasih Centre and Sabah Cheshire Home and Services.

Earth hour

IMAGO Shopping Mall never stop to create awareness of the environment by celebrating Earth Hour every year.
