Homi Mullan

Homi Mullan was an Indian percussionist and composer. He was a noted musician of Hindi films. Mullan worked with great music directors like S. D. Burman, Madan Mohan and Naushad. Mullan also worked with R. D. Burman.[1][2][3]

Not to be confused with Homi Mullan.

Musical career

Homi Mullan started his musical career at a very young age. First time of his career he worked in Kolkata. Music director-singer Pankaj Mullick gave him chance to play percussion in Bengali films. After he worked with Sailesh Dasgupta, Shyamal Mitra, Nachiketa Ghosh many musicians. In Bollywood Rahul Dev Burman gave him a chance to play percussion in his music. After that he got an opportunity to join the Burman Music Sitting Team.

After the death of R.D. Burman

After the death of R.D. Burman, Mullan took retirement from music industry.Template:Mullan died on 26 th December 2015 before completion of a documentary made on him by musician Gopalka. The bad luck is he could not see this documentary made on him.
