"Hold Me Tight" is a song written and performed by Johnny Nash. It reached No. 1 on the Canadian chart, #5 on both the U.S. pop chart and the UK Singles Chart, #7 on the Cashbox chart, #20 on the adult contemporary chart, and #21 on the U.S. R&B chart in 1968.[1] It was featured on his 1968 album Hold Me Tight,[2] and the tune was also used in Score commercials.[3]
