History of rugby union matches between Argentina and Wales

Wales national rugby union team first played Argentina in 1968 when they undertook a two-test tour of the latter country. Argentina awarded full caps for the match but Wales did not. Argentina won the series winning the first match and drawing the second. The first match that both teams awarded full caps was in 1991, during the Rugby World Cup.
