Hiromichi Mizuno

Hiromichi Mizuno (水野 弘道) is a financial executive. Between January 2015‒March 2020 Mizuno was Chief Investment Officer of the Japan Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), the largest asset owner in the world.[1] On 23 April 2020 Mizuno joined Tesla, Inc. as an outside board member, serving on the audit committee.[2][3]

Mizuno was born in Tajimi in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.[4] Mizuro studied at Osaka City University, before gaining an Master of Business Administration at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.

During 2019 Mizuno was looking to move on from GPIF.[5]
