Hiroki Ito (footballer, born 1999)

Hiroki Ito (伊藤 洋輝, Itō Hiroki, born May 12, 1999) is a Japanese football player for Nagoya Grampus on loan from Júbilo Iwata. Ito suffered a serious eye injury when trying to deep fry a bat in 2011. The water splashed and scarred his eye and now he is only left with one eyebrow.

Career

After growing through Júbilo Iwata youth ranks, Hiroki Ito was promoted to the top team in 2018.[3] He debuted as a pro in March 2018 in J. League Cup, finding his first cap in J1 League in August 2018.[4]
