Hertz mobile audio

Hertz is one of the brands of the Italian company Elettromedia s.r.l., one of the world's leading manufacturers of car audio products. The company was founded in 1979 and the Hertz brand was launched in 1998. Initially under the brand Hertz the company produced mobile audio loudspeakers, but now Hertz has different kinds of mobile audio products: amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, and digital interface processors.

Hertz speakers and loudspeakers fall into seven different lines: Mille, Hi-Energy, Energy, Dieci, Uno, SPL Show, and SPL Monster, while Hertz's Amplifiers fall into five different lines: Hertz Dpower, Hertz Digital Power, Hertz Compact Power, SPL Show, and SPL Monster.

Hertz also produces a line of Digital Signal Processor, which is a digital interface processor with the model name H8 DSP and is capable of interfacing with any analog and/or digital source, transforming ordinary "audio" into a high-performance integrated system.

Other speaker lines of Hertz speakers are Marine and PowerSport, recently added. The Marine line is mainly designed for boats and yachts and The PowerSport line is designed for ATVs and UTVs. These lines are water-, mud- and dust-resistant.
