Helios (cinemas)

Helios S.A. (formerly Centrum Filmowe Helios S.A.) – Poland-based chain of multi-screen cinemas.

Our history

Helios S.A. is Poland’s largest cinema chain by the number of facilities. The company has been active since 1993 and now can boast 47 cinemas in 40 cities. Since 31 August 2010,

Helios S.A. has been part of Agora S.A. Group

Our cinemas show the latest 2D and 3D films. Helios has been the first in Poland to launch an innovative concept. Helios Dream stands out for its contemporary design, comfortable, adjustable leather seats, Dolby Atmos sound system and 4K resolution screens.

On top of regular show listings, Helios’s visitors can enjoy special screenings dedicated to specific audiences: women, cinema enthusiasts, seasoned cineastes or fans of cultural events or all-night movie marathons.

Helios was awarded the “Teraz Polska” (Poland Now) Emblem in the 25th “Teraz Polska” Competition for Services[4] and the Created in Poland Superbrands 2015/16 Award in the Cinemas category.
