Background and lyrics

The song is focused on the friendship between the members of the 1975,[1] tracing back to when they first met in 2002.[2]

Lyrically, the song describes when the band first met, and how there is a nostalgia for those times. Healey sings in the track: "the moment that we started a band, was the best thing that ever happened. And I wish we could do it again, it was the best thing that ever happened, to me."[3]

Live performances

The song was first reported to be played live in February 2020 during the winter European leg of the Music for Cars Tour.

Critical reception

Brittany Spanos, writing for Rolling Stone magazine called the track an "earnest mid-tempo song".[3]
