Giv'at Avni
Giv'at Avni (Hebrew: גִּבְעַת אַבְנִי) is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located adjacent to the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias, it falls under the jurisdiction of Lower Galilee Regional Council. In 2018 it had a population of 1,976.[1]

History
The village was founded in 1991 by the Lower Galilee Regional Council, and was named after Shlomo Avni, director-general of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, who was active in its establishment.
