Georgios Kalaitzis (also spelled Giorgos; Greek: Γιώργος Καλαϊτζής; born August 29, 1976) is a Greek basketball coach and former player.

Professional career
In his pro career, Kalaitzis played with: the Greek Basket League club Panionios, the Italian LBA club Olimpia Milano, and the Greek clubs Panathinaikos, Aris, Panellinios, Kolossos, and he ended his playing career with Doukas of the Greek 3rd Division.[1]
National team career
Kalaitzis won the gold medal at the 1995 FIBA Under-19 World Cup with the Greek junior national team. As a member of the senior men's Greek national basketball team, he played at the EuroBasket 1997, the 1998 FIBA World Championship, the EuroBasket 1999, and the EuroBasket 2001.
Coaching career
Kalaitzis became a head coach in the youth academies of Panathinaikos in 2016. In January 2020 he joined the first team of Panathinaikos, as an assistant coach to Rick Pitino.
