George Le Brunn

George Le Brunn (20 June 1863 – 18 December 1905) was an English song writer active during the heyday of the Victorian music hall. He was born George Frederick Brunn in Brighton, Sussex.[1] Among the more well-known songs he wrote is "Oh! Mr Porter", co-written with his brother Thomas (1864–1936), and included in the repertoires of the popular singers Marie Lloyd and Norah Blaney.[2][3]

Le Brunn died of meningitis in Brixton, London, and was buried in Lambeth Cemetery.[1]
