George Dayton (senator)
George Dayton (1827 – ?) lived in Union Township in what is now Rutherford, New Jersey, and represented Bergen County in the New Jersey Senate from 1875 to 1877.[2][3] Dayton moved to Closter, New Jersey, in 1890 and became the clerk of Harrington Township, New Jersey.[1]

George Dayton is the great grandson of Jonathan Dayton and great great grandson of Elias Dayton.
