Tekere

Tekere means clap your hands. The song is about jealousy, about too much jealousy is easy turning into maliciousness. A person should accept its situation, its not necessary to make yourself greater than you are, not compensate missing greatness with arrogance. For many persons it is just sufficient to applaud them, and they will love it. Keita uses e.g. the image of a griot whom one can give money and he will sing, and clap the hands for your woman. But your woman then will follow the one who claps the hand.
