Fatih Karagümrük S.K., also called Karagümrükspor, is a Turkish professional football club based in the Karagümrük neighbourhood of the Fatih district in İstanbul. They were in the Turkish Süper Lig, the top tier of the country, from 1958 to 1963 and in 1983–84 season.

History

The club was founded in 1926. It joined the national tiers of the football pyramid in 1933.

The club played in the Turkish Premier League in the years 1958-1963 and 1983-1984.

Karagümrük were relegated to the Turkish Regional Amateur League twice.

The side currently plays in the TFF First League, having been promoted in the 2018–2019 season.

Supporters

Karagümrük fans have a strong hooligan element. Their biggest rivals are Kasımpaşa, Zeytinburnu and Eyüp. They have a strong friendship with Karşıyaka fans.
