Enthiran (film series)

Vaseegaran creates a sophisticated humanoid robot with the help of his assistants. Chitti was first created without emotions however in order for the robot to understand human behaviour, Vaseegaran modifies it's neural schema. But then the robot fell in love with the scientist's fiancée, Sana and thus it caused conflict between them. Chitti deliberately fails an evaluation conducted by the Indian Army. Enraged, Vaseegaran chops Chitti into pieces. He was found by Dr. Bohra and upgrade into 2.0 because of a red chip. He converts it into a ruthless killer and turned into an evil destructive killing machine and killed Bohra. However, Vaseegaran managed to defeat and stop Chitti. Since, he caused so much damage and destruction to the city, he was de-activated and dismantled.[3]

India faces a threat from supernatural entity Pakshi Rajan,[4] a negative aura who transforms into the bird-like creature and uses smartphones as weapons. Vaseegaran decides to help the government by reviving the superpowered andro-humanoid robot Chitti. To defeat Pakshi, Chitti upgraded into version 2.0. Later, Chitti, along with its army of robots, arrives and confronts him, resulting in a battle between the two. However, its battery drains, and it rushes to the nearest power station. During this time, microbots resembling Chitti, called as Kutti version 3.0, arrive mounted on white pigeons, to confront Pakshi and lead him to the space station where they destroy him.

During lauch of the film 2.0 the host asked director S.Shankar whether he will be making a third installment to Enthiran franchise.Director said that he has few idea in his mind about the third installment of the film and he will think about it.
