Ellinjaa, Queensland

History

The name of the locality probably derives from nearby Ellinjaa Creek and Ellinjaa Falls.[1]

Woolley's Road State School opened on 19 May 1919. In 1923 it was renamed Ellinjaa Road State School. It closed in 1949.[2]

Brook's Road State School opened on circa 1927 and closed on 1954.[3]
