Eleusis (Boeotia)

Eleusis (Ancient Greek: Ἐλευσίς) was a town of ancient Boeotia, on the river Triton, and near Lake Copais. Eleusis, along with the neighbouring town of Athenae , was destroyed by an inundation.[1][2]
