Efrain Esquivias Jr.

Efrain Esquivias (born February 29, 1988 in Carson, California, United States) is an American professional boxer in the Super Bantamweight division and is the current WBA Fedelatin Super Bantamweight Champion.[1] Efrain is trained by 5-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing gym.[2] He is of Mexican descent.

Amateur career

In 2006 Efrain won the National Golden Gloves Championships at Bantamweight.[3]

Professional career

On March 25, 2011 Esquivias beat the veteran John Alberto Molina to win the WBA Fedelatin Super Bantamweight Championship.[4] However, on June 23, 2012 Esquivias lost to Rico Ramos by decision in 8 rounds.
