Dovecot, Liverpool

Dovecot is a district of Liverpool, England. Other names for Dovecot include Diddcot and Diddy Town. It is situated to the east of the city and is bordered by the inner-city district of Knotty Ash, the suburbs of Broadgreen and West Derby, and the town of Roby. The area is part of the Knotty Ash ward of Liverpool City Council.

Dovecot is a small district composed primarily of 20th-century townhouses, usually large in size. There are a number of more desirable semi-detached houses on the border with Knotty Ash. The main attraction of the area is Dovecot Park, one of Liverpool's many public parks.
