Dosti... Yariyaan... Manmarziyan[2] is an Indian television drama series which aired from 13 April 2015 to 29 August 2015 on Star Plus.[3][4] The show was produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary and directed by Pushkar Mahabal,[5] under the Swastik Productions.[6] It starred Monica Sehgal and Kashmira Irani[1][5][7] in the lead roles. The show captures the spirit of the real Mumbai focusing on two girls from contrasting backgrounds who desire to find courage to chase a life of their choice in a contemporary office.[8]

Plot summary

The story is about two friends Radhika (Monica Sehgal) and Samaira/Sam (Kashmira Irani). Radhika is a amiable and Driven girl from Rishikesh who aspires to become a writer and do something BIG in life.Samaira is a modern, independent and strong girl who works at Bird Song Advertising Agency, Mumbai .Radhika meets Sam when the latter goes to Rishikesh for an ad shooting and become friends.Sam's childhood friend, Neil(Shravan Reddy) also accompanies them. They motivate Radhika to focus on her writing career.After getting engaged to Saral, Radhika goes to Mumbai to fulfil her dreams. Radhika starts working in Birdsong .The bonding between Radhika and Sam gets stronger.

Enter Arjun Mehra (Aham Sharma),the new boss of Birdsong company with a hidden motive.It is revealed that Nandini, Arjun's adoptive sister, had been in an extra-marital affair with Samrat (Sam's father) but he ditched her for his family.Nandini was devastated and suicidal, while 10 year old Arjun had been the witness to this heartbreak leaving him bitter.She plans to seek revenge from Samrat for her misfortune by killing Samaira using Arjun. Arjun tricks Sam into madly fall in love with him but, Arjun falls in love with Radhika because of her positive spirit and simplicity.On realising that Arjun loves Radhika, Nandini manipulates Saral without letting Arjun know. Saral forcefully tries to marry Radhika but,Arjun stops the wedding.Later Radhika finds about Arjun's motives and tries to save Sam from Nandini's evil plan by marrying Arjun which ruins their friendship.A heart broken Sam is consoled by Neil, who loves her. Radhika is determined to save Sam at any cost while Sam,to get Arjun back.But Radhika realises that Arjun has no idea about the plan of killing Sam and that Nandini had been using Arjun all this while.After learning about Arjun's innocence, Radhika falls for Arjun.Radhika somehow brings Nandini's true colors infront of Arjun leaving him shattered.That day, Radhika assures Sam that she will never ever come between them and leaves to Rishikesh by sacrificing her love for Arjun.

After a few months,It is seen that Neil and Sam realises their love for each other and marry. The three goes to Rishikesh to bring Radhika back. From there, Arjun proposes Radhika.

2 years later, Radhika is awarded with "Best Copywriter of the Year " award. Neil, Sam, Radhika and Arjun continues to work happily together at Bird Song.
