"Do Anything You Wanna Do" is a song written by Eddie and the Hot Rods' manager Ed Hollis (the brother of Talk Talk's Mark Hollis) and guitarist Graeme Douglas and recorded by the band, although the actual record label credited The Rods as the artist. It reached #9 on the UK Singles Chart in 1977.[1] The song was featured on their 1977 album, Life on the Line.[2]

The song was voted the 9th best single of the year in the end of year critics poll in the NME.[4]
A live version of the song was featured as the B-side to their 1978 single, "Life on the Line".[5]
The song was featured in the 2009 film The Invention of Lying.

- The Top of the Poppers released a version of the song on their 1977 album, Top of the Pops Vol. 61.[6]
- Huw Gower released a version of the song on his 1984 EP, Guitarophilia.[7]
- Manfred Mann's Earth Band released a version of the song as a single in March 1986, but it did not chart.[8] It was featured on their album, Criminal Tango.
