Dmytro Razumkov

Dmytro Oleksandrovych Razumkov (Ukrainian: Дмитро Олександрович Разумков; born 8 October 1983)[2] is a Ukrainian politician serving as Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada since 29 August 2019.[3] Previously he was leader of the Servant of the People party.[4][5][6]

Biography

He with honors graduated the Institute of International Relations at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in International Economic Relations and also with honors received a law degree from the National State Tax Service University.

Razumkov is the managing director of the Ukrainian Politconsulting Group.[7] He was a member of the Party of Regions from 2006 to 2010.[8] He was Assistant of Member of Ukrainian Parliament Valeriya Matyukha (Party of Regions) in 2006-07.[9] Razumkov was a political advisor to Volodymyr Zelenskiy's 2019 presidential campaign.[10][11]

His late father Oleksandr Razumkov was the former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.[12][13] Razumkov is married and has two children.[14]

In December 2019, Dmytro Razumkov was included in the list of the 100 most influential Ukrainians by Focus magazine, taking the 7th place.[15]
