Dennis Dagger

Dennis Dagger is a purpose-built fire engine for smaller fire stations, manufactured by Dennis Specialist Vehicles in Guildford, Surrey (now known as Alexander Dennis). The Dagger is capable of carrying 12.5 tonnes of equipment and is fitted with a 4000 L/min water pump. The appliance is powered by a Cummins C Series engine. 2 are still in use by Essex Fire and Rescue Service

  • Hose reels: 2 hose reels each 54 metre x 19.4 mm capacity high pressure hose
  • Cab: 6 Firefighter high-grade stainless steel cab. Conforms to ECE 29 Parts A, B & C
  • Bodywork: Welded frame aluminium construction with in built facility for variable height stowage system.
  • Lockers: 3 lockers each side of appliance, enclosed by anodised aluminium roller shutter. Rear pump bay doors.
  • Ladder: Gantries optional per customer requirement
  • Finish: Full paint finish to cab to customer requirement
