The school was founded in the year 2003 and the classes started in March 2003, when the CBSE[3] session starts. Initially the school was only from 1 to Class 6

The school has six houses, each named after a tree, as a tribute to nature.

Several inter-house competitions are held every year in the school which include academics and sports.
