David Sharpe (American football)

David Sharpe (born October 21, 1995) is an American football offensive tackle for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League. He played college football at Florida, and was drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.[1] He has also played for the Houston Texans.

Professional career

Oakland Raiders

Sharpe was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round, 129th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft.[2]

On September 1, 2018, Sharpe was waived by the Raiders.[3]

Houston Texans

On September 12, 2018, Sharpe was signed by the Houston Texans to their practice squad.[4] On September 25, Sharpe was promoted to the active roster.[5] He was waived on October 31, 2018.[6]

Oakland / Las Vegas Raiders (second stint)

On November 1, 2018, Sharpe was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders.[7]

On April 16, 2020, Sharpe was re-signed to a one-year contract.[8]
