David Maiden

David Maiden (born (1971-08-07) 7 August 1971) is a Scottish former professional rugby league footballer who played as a centre, second-row or lock in the 1990s and 2000s, and coached in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at club level for the North Queensland Cowboys, Gateshead Thunder and Hull FC.[1]

After Maiden finished at North Queensland Cowboys in 1995 he moved to England to play for Gateshead Thunder. The original Gateshead club later merged with Hull FC, and he played a number of seasons for Hull FC. From 2010 until 2012 he was the coach Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup, the club is based in Cairns, North Queensland.[2]

Maiden was a Scotland international and played at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup.[3]
