During the two seasons he was with LA Galaxy II, Steres was named Defender of the Year in both seasons.[9]
After two seasons with LA Galaxy's reserve team, Steres was rewarded with a first-team contract on December 17, 2015.[10] He scored in his debut against DC United on a corner kick from Mike Magee. The goal started a come-from-behind win.[11]
