Biography

Early life and education

Siboni was born in Rabat, Morocco and raised in "Place de la Victoire" (the victory place).

At age 15, Siboni participated in a young photography competition in Paris sponsored by "La ville de Paris"". In addition to winning professional photography equipment, his winning photo "City of Paris" was published in different Parisian magazines. At age 24, he entered the Ecole de Beaux Arts in Paris to study interior architecture.

Career

During his studies, he was recruited to work for a private architectural firm to develop interior design concepts for some of Paris’ most famous restaurants and private homes such as "Drugstore Opera," "Le Glory Echiqufice," "Le Chevalier de temple," "Station de nuit," "Le Vouvray," "Les Rois Feneants"

After ten years working at a private architectural firm, Siboni decided to launch his own concept restaurant bar, Zinc Bar, in the 11th arrondissement district of Paris.

Three months after opening, he was approached by the publisher of Lola Mag, a famous Parisian fashion magazine, to feature one of his photos "New York City." In 1982 at age 34, he became the director of photography for Lola Mag with responsibility for overseeing the production, coordination and shooting of all magazine covers and fashion spreads.

Two years later, Siboni opened his own photography studio/gallery "101" Studio Victoire in "Place de la Victoire".

In addition to running his gallery, he expanded his international business by launching Eden Productions in Majorca, Spain.

In 2018, Siboni was hired to create pieces of artwork for The LINK hotels in Tel Aviv.[3]
