Daily News Brands (Torstar)
Daily News Brands, formerly Star Media Group, is a Canadian media organization and a division of Torstar Corporation. Its flagship publication is the Toronto Star newspaper, which is owned by Toronto Star Newspapers Limited, a subsidiary of Torstar.[1]

In late May 2020, Torstar accepted an offer for the sale of all of its assets to Nordstar Capital, a deal expected to close by year end.[2]
