Dacia Spring

The Dacia Spring (internal code BBG)[1] is a 100% electric crossover city car from the Romanian car manufacturer Dacia which is going to be produced from 2021. It is prefigured by the Dacia Spring Electric concept unveiled in March 2020.[2].

Presentation

The Dacia Spring is going to be presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 2020 and marketed in early 2021.[1].

Features

The Dacia Spring is based on the Renault City K-ZE produced in China since 2019, which itself is based on the Renault Kwid produced in India and Brazil, and its made on the CMF-A platform.[3].

Concept-car

The Dacia Spring is prefigured by the concept car Dacia Spring Electric concept unveiled on the web on 3 March 2020.[4] It was to be presented at the Geneva International Motor Show 2020 but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[5].

The Spring has a gray body color enhanced with neon orange accents on the rims, the door handles, the mirrors and the grille.[6]
