History and background

Oomph! Radio (2015 - 2017)

Before its current brand, it was known as UR105 Ultimate Radio and in 2010 as a Christian Contemporary music station Mango Radio.

As Oomph Radio 105.1 in October 2014, Viva Live started their operations in Cebu City which marked the first venture of Del Rosario's Viva Group in Philippine radio, after acquiring the franchises of Ultimate Entertainment Inc.[1] In June 2016, Viva Live briefly dropped the Oomph Radio brand and rebranded it again as UR 105, adding 70s, 80s and 90s to its playlist, despite retaining its format. However, in July 2016, Viva Live brought back the Oomph Radio brand and its Top 40/OPM format it also added into Anime and J-Pop music and K-Pop music format. In February 2017, the Oomph Radio brand was dropped again and rebranded again as "105.1 FM" due to management decision and signifying another rebranding of the station.

In May 2017, all Viva Live stations were relaunched as Halo Halo, the first and only FM station in each city which plays only Original Pilipino Music. Following the launch, DYUR became a de facto local counterpart of Pinas FM 95.5 in Metro Manila (a station owned by Iglesia ni Cristo's for-profit broadcast arm Eagle Broadcasting Corporation) and Tag 91.1 in Dubai, UAE (owned by Arabian Radio Network).
