Corazon Soliman

Corazón Victoria "Dinky" Nerves Juliano-Soliman (born January 27, 1953)[1] is a Filipino politician. She served as secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the Philippines under the administration of President Benigno Aquino III. She held the same position under former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo but later resigned in 2005 in protest of the Hello Garci scandal.[2]

She obtained her B.S. in Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She also attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where she earned her Master of Public Administration.
