Clavado En Un Bar

"Clavado en un Bar" (English: Stuck in a Bar) is the first radio single and sixth track from Maná's fifth studio album, Sueños Líquidos in 1997. On the week of 4 October 1997 the song debuted at number seventeen on the U.S. Billboard Hot Latin Tracks[1] and after five weeks later on 8 November 1997 it reach to its highest point at the number twelve spot for two weeks.[2] It stayed there for a total of 10 weeks.[3]

The 11th episode of the third season of the Fox TV show New Girl was titled Clavado en un Bar and the song was featured at the end of the episode when the local drunk of the bar goes to the juke box and plays the Maná hit song.

José Alberto "El Canario" performed a salsa version of the song which peaked at #10 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart.[7]

This song also had an official music video directed by Jorge Aguilera.
