Christy Holly

Christy Holly is an Irish professional women's football coach and former player. He has served as an assistant coach for Georgian Court University, in addition to serving as both assistant and head coach for Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League. He comes from an athletic family, and is a cousin of Gaelic footballer Barry McGoldrick.[1] He was the winner of the annual Paddy Preston award for Assistance helping his fellow man.[2][3]

Early life

Playing career

Holly played in college for John Moores University and professionally for Limavady United in the Irish Premier League.

Coaching career

Sky Blue FC, 2016–August 2017

After serving as an assistant coach in the Sky Blue FC organization for three years, Holly was named head coach in January 2016.[4] He stepped down from that position on August 16, 2017.[5]
