Charles Jones (tight end)

Charles Jones (born August 5, 1996) is an American football tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tulane.

Early years

Jones attended St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. In high school, he was teammates with Leonard Fournette.[1]

College career

Jones played college football at Tulane. During his time for the Green Wave, he appeared in 40 games with 22 starts, and totaled 40 receptions for 268 yards and five touchdowns.[2]

Professional career

After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Jones was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.[3] He was waived on August 31, 2019 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on November 18, 2019.[4]
