Charles Delelienne
Charles Delelienne (born 25.2.1892) was a Belgian field hockey player who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics.

He was the Keeper of the Ling Hockey Club and played in the Belgian National field hockey team, which won the bronze medal.
Delelienne was President of the Belgian Hockey Federation from 1940 to 1945. He qualified as an Engineer at the State University of Liege and worked for the Railway Company of Bas-Congo Katanga. 21.7.19 King Albert’s medal striped with rays 2.10.56 Knight of the Order of the Lion awarded for services to Congo. 21.4.59 Silver medal of the national institute of education 1923 married Emily Gertrude Buck (16.7.1885-16.6.1970) an English woman who qualified as a nurse 21.1.15 at the Ecole Belge d’Infirmieres and nursed with Edith Cavell in WW1. In 5.5.19 she was awarded Queen Elizabeth’s medal with red cross. They have one daughter, Mary Francoise Bradley, living in England.
