Charles Agar (Archdeacon of Emly)

Charles Agar (28 May 1755 - 5 May 1789)[1] was an Irish Anglican priest.[2]

The son of James Agar of Kilkenny,[3] he was educated at Eton College and Christ Church Oxford.[4] He was M.P. for Kilkenny City from May to July 1778;[5] and Archdeacon of Emly[6] from 1782 until 1788.[7]
