Central Zone women's cricket team

The Central Zone women's cricket team is a women's first-class cricket team that represents central India in the Inter Zone Women's One Day Competition and Inter Zone Women's Three Day Competition.[1][2] Team also represented cental India in the now defunct Rani Jhansi Trophy from 1974 to 1997.[3] Central zone has been the most dominant team, especially due to Railways bagging the top players from all regions. Central zone emerged victorious in 7 out of the 8 seasons of the one day competition and won both the first class tournaments.
