Carter Peak

Carter Peak (70°19′S 64°12′E) is a peak standing 1 nautical mile (2 km) west of Mount Bensley and 9 nautical miles (17 km) southwest of Mount Starlight, in the Prince Charles Mountains, Mac. Robertson Land. It was mapped from Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions surveys and air photos, 1955–65, and named by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia for D.B. Carter, electronics technician at Mawson Station, 1965.[1]
