Cardinia Road railway station

Cardinia Road railway station is located on the Gippsland line in Victoria, Australia. It opened on 22 April 2012, and serves the south-eastern Melbourne satellite suburb of Pakenham.[1]

Construction works commenced in October 2010 and the station opened eighteen months later.[2]

Cardinia Road has two side platforms. It is served by Metro Trains' Pakenham line trains.[3]

It is planned to connect the Pakenham line to the Sunbury line, via the new Metro Tunnel, in late 2025.
