Camouflage grouper
The camouflage grouper (Epinephelus polyphekadion) is a species of marine fish in the family Serranidae.[2]

Camouflage grouper

The camouflage grouper is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific area from the eastern coast of Africa to the French Polynesia and it is also present in the Red Sea.
This grouper is a medium-sized fish, it can grow up to 90 centimetres (35 in) length.[3]
Its natural habitats are open seas, shallow seas, subtidal aquatic beds, coral reefs, rocky shores, and coastal saline lagoons.
It is threatened by commercial and recreational fishing, including the life reef fish trade, and also habitat degradation of coral reefs.
